Chat Filter
To help keep Amazehut a welcoming and enjoyable place for everyone, we use an automatic chat filtering system.
The chat filter detects a variety of prohibited words and phrases, including (but not limited to):
- Profanity and offensive language;
- Server hate and excessive toxicity;
- Advertising of other servers or communities;
- Unauthorized links;
- Other inappropriate or bypassed words.
When a filtered word or phrase is detected, the player is automatically muted for 1 hour. This temporary mute helps prevent repeated attempts to bypass the filter while staff review the situation if necessary.
In some cases, additional punishment may be issued if the violation was intentional or part of repeated misconduct.
Why are we publishing the filtered words?
Our chat filter has been in use for over 3 years and has been highly effective in keeping chat friendly and enjoyable for everyone.
However, we understand that accidental mutes can sometimes occur. To reduce these situations, we have made the list of filtered words publicly available so players know what to avoid.
This information is provided solely to help players avoid accidental mutes. Attempting to abuse, bypass, or exploit this information may result in additional punishments.
Important
Language constantly evolves, and new words, abbreviations, and bypass methods appear over time. As a result, the chat filter and its list of filtered words may be updated at any time without prior notice.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are familiar with the latest version of the filter.
